To cure or to cause

Light pink seems to be a popular color these days. The campaigns to find a cure for breast cancer have taken advantage of this trend to promote their cause. Pink t-shirts, pink bracelets, pink shoes, pink tic-tacs–it’s getting ridiculous. And yes, I realize breast cancer is an increasing danger to society and I think it can be important to find a cure; but be on the ware, some of these groups advocating a cure are not helping the problem.

Hello to all!

My name is David Biddle. For some background information, I’m graduating in May with a degree in Broadcast Production; on July 1, I’m marrying my beautiful fiancee, Carli; we will live happily ever after.

I live a seemingly “normal” life. But, as I’m sure we’re all realizing, there is no such thing as “normal.” The most important aspect of my life is religion. Thank God my parents raised me Roman Catholic–this is perhaps their greatest gift to me (save life, of course).

As religion is so important to me, I thought it appropriate to construct my blog as “Issues in Roman Catholicism.” Topics in my blog may consist of current Church issues, the liturgy, dogma and doctrine, angels and saints, the problems with Protestantism, traditional and modern thought, et cetera.
