About

David Biddle. That’s me. Many people call me “Biddle,” and I’m OK with that. Born and raised in Okmulgee, OK, I come from a family of six–one older sister and two older brothers. It may be said that mine is a military family. My grandfather served in WWII, my father served in Vietnam and both of my brothers are Marines (one served in Iraq). But this has little to do with my own identity (save, perhaps, empathy for certain causes that would otherwise not exist).

The greatest part of my identity has to do with religion. I’m Catholic; Roman Catholic to be precise. I love the Church and have great desire to serve her in whatever way possible. I have a strong interest in Church History and love learning about the saints.
I’m not a big fan of capitalism, I don’t like communism, so I’m trying to find a happy place in between. While I have very little interest in politics, I have great concern for humanity.

In my spare time I enjoy making short films and doing all sorts of media production. Recently I have found interest in not only making short movies, but designing DVDs as well (menu and package designs both).

I graduate in May with a B.A. in broadcast production, a minor in history, and an honors degree. I hope to have employment arranged in broadcast production before graduation. Companies I’m currently investigating: ETWN.

Carli. That’s my beautiful fiancee. She is a devout Catholic and perhaps the greatest person in the world. We’re engaged to be married on July 1, 2006. We’re having a Latin Mass and it will be beautiful. In fact, people will cry. We want to have a large family and she will stay at home to school the children.

So that’s what I’m all about: Catholicism, Carli Renee, and my family. I hope this background will give a little insight into the nature of my blog.
