Share the FILTH

So I was walking through the Union the other day when I noticed a table display set up in front of the bookstore. It was sponsored by Share the WEALTH. The main sign mentioned “healthy relationships.” The table below advertised “free condoms.” Perplexed as to how condoms related to healthy relationships, I decided to confront the young woman at the table.

To cure or to cause

Light pink seems to be a popular color these days. The campaigns to find a cure for breast cancer have taken advantage of this trend to promote their cause. Pink t-shirts, pink bracelets, pink shoes, pink tic-tacs–it’s getting ridiculous. And yes, I realize breast cancer is an increasing danger to society and I think it can be important to find a cure; but be on the ware, some of these groups advocating a cure are not helping the problem.
