Many people tell me that they think this is a strange image. I like it. I know it’s different but I wanted to shoot it so that you can see the detail in the material.
This was really easy to photograph and it didn’t take me that long at all. I just used one light, which was placed to the side so that it would enhance all of the fibers in the jeans. I cropped it so that the zipper would be the center of focus. This is a very simplistic image that is out of the ordinary, yet eye catching.
I shot this with a 4X5 digital format camera.
