Skyscraper
I shot this for a brochure that I was making for the Komatsu department at OSU-Okmulgee. I thought that the sockets were kind of boring so I wanted to make them a little more interesting by standing them up like skyscrapers.
I placed plastic wrap on top of plexiglass to give it a “wet” look. I only used two lights for this shot, one in the back with an orange gel to give it the look of a “sunset” and the other on left side of the sockets. I also used a white piece of foam board to act as a reflector, this helped bounce light back into the sockets.
This image was shot with a 4×5 film camera, I used Fugi 100 speed chrome film. This shoot took me about five hours to complete.
