Sports
Shooting sports can be difficult because there is a lot of movement. I shot this picture at Lake Murry in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This was a fun thing for me to shoot since I was on a boat. It was still difficult because of the distance from me and the skier and also because of all of the movement. I also had to be careful with my camera and protect it from any water that was being splashed around.
I used available light in this image and had to make sure to keep my hand steady. If you can’t keep your hand steady then setting your camera on something is a great way to help keep it still.
I shot this with my Nikon D70 digital camera.
