Beyonce gives millions of women all over America pride in being “curvy.” She is not ashamed of her curves and embraces them with every breath she takes and every shake she makes. Beyonce was first a part of Destiny’s Child who sold over 33 million records worldwide by 2002. Destiny’s Child was quite the sensation winning numerous Grammies for their hit songs. In 2001, the group split allowing Beyonce to start a career on her own, hoping to succeed.
And succeeding is just what Beyonce did! Beyonce became the first African-American female artist and second woman ever to win the ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. Beyonce overcame many obstacles throughout her life to rise to the very top. She is an inspiration to women and men of all ages and races.
