I have discovered a new band that I like a whole bunch. They are called Pinback and sound a lot like The Postal Service. My 3 favorite songs are: Penelope, Syracuse and the yellow ones. They have a few good videos on MTV. Their type of music is catorgized as postmodern indie pop that is quite a sensation on the West Coast.
If you download a few Pinback songs and enjoy them, you also might be interested in Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse, a couple more of my favorite bands.

Matthew Miller is a man who strongly belives in living a Lubavitch Hasidic lifestyle, while abiding by the Jewish Law. He raps about faith and spirituality with a consistent flow that is very pleasant to the ears. His top hit at the moment is “King Without a Crown.” It is a great song and I encourage everyone to download it! He sounds like a mixture of Bob Marely and Shlomo Carlebach.

My name is Jennifer Johnson. I’m 22 years and graduated from Jenks High School in 2002. I was born in Tulsa but moved to Dallas when I was three-years-old and later moved back to Tulsa when I was 14.Majority of my family lives in Dallas, while my mom and dad live in Tulsa. I love both Tulsa and Dallas but hope to move to Dallas once I graduate.

I love Oklahoma State and everything about it! I enjoy going to the all of the sporting events. I have three wonderful roommates named Robin Davis, Angie Bailey, and Adrienne Eilas. We have a very cute house right by Boomer. We do just about everything together!

I have a younger sister, Jessica Johnson, who is freshman at OSU this year. My sister and I are very close and see each other a whole bunch. My whole family is very close. My extended family consists of 17 memebers, whom I all love very much.

I graduate in Dec. 06′ and plan on working for a large company. I am not for certain what I want to do with my career but I have a good idea of what I don’t want to do. I can’t see myself working for an advertising agency, but who knows. I have no idea what the future has to offer, but I’m very excited to find out!

I love music! I have to be listening to music while pretty much doing everything I do. I have an I-pod nano that I have to bring absolutely everywhere and am about as important to me as…something very valuable. I love all sorts of music so my blog is going to be pretty broad. I do, however, have certain types of genres and singers I enjoy more than others. So I’ll keep everyone updated on my favorite band each week! This week my favorite artist is James Blunt. Of his songs, “You’re Beautiful” is my absolute favorite. Everyone must download it!
