Odd laws in Oklahoma
Either someone is kidding, or you have some weird laws in Oklahoma.
Violators can be fined, arrested or jailed for making ugly faces at a dog. Tattoos are banned. It is illegal to wear your boots to bed. Women may not gamble in the nude, in lingerie, or while wearing a towel.
I know I’m not supposed to believe everything I read, but I do…

That’s Oklahoma for you. But a lot of states have some pretty dumb laws too. I guess that’s the beauty of living in a democracy, or is it? That woman gamblng one is interesting. It makes religious conservatives happy, doesn’t it? They don’t really like women, gambling, nudity or lingerie. I think they’re OK w/ towels though. I guess it depends on what kind of towel it is. If it’s gay, Jewish or scientific, it may just be an abomination.

Well, I can’t really say that this is Oklahoma for me…
It’s just some of the weird laws that I don’t know if you even follow. I’m sure that not just every state in the U.S. has these kind of laws, but also every country in the world.

When I was in elementary school we had a book that listed all of the dumb laws in Oklahoma. We had to read the book and then give a presentation over it. It is amazing some of the stuff people think up and also imagine trying to explain some of these laws to 11 year olds!
