Country music has probably had the most affect on my life, especially when it comes to my passion for music.  When I was younger I used to listen to Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, and others, religiously.  No kidding, I could sing every verse of every Garth song by the age of nine.  I can still remember rushing home, poping in a Garth CD and pretending like I was in front out millions of people singing my heart out for them.  And yes, I did get the chance to see Garth in concert in Tulsa.

I know that for awhile there were a lot of rumors about Garth coming back to tour, especially sense he released his “Lost Sessions” CD.  This will not happen anytime soon.  When I went home the a couple weeks ago, my mom had Tivo’d the Oprah where Garth was a guest.  He discussed the topic of him returning to the stage and he simply said he had no intentions at this time because of his family.  But, he did say that once his kids are older and if there was still the chance, there could be a good possibility for him to come back.
