Top Five Funny Movies
I haved picked five comedies that I think are funny. These may not always be my top five funny movies, but for today they are. I recomend anyone that is in need of a laugh rent one of these movies. A few of these I have already mentioned on other parts of my blog. Sorry that I will be repeating myself some.
Number 5
This funny movie stars one of my favorite actors, Tim Robbins. Tim Robbins is well known for his part in The Shawshank Redemption. Both of these movies were released in 1994. The Hudsucker Proxy is a dark comedy about a young man, Tim Robbins character, entering the corporate world. It is sure to make everyone laugh.
Number 4
Death to Smoochy is a dark comedy with another one of my favorite actors, Edward Norton. This Danny DeVito directed movie has a great cast. Opposite of Edward Norton is Robin Williams playing a character named Rainbow. Edward Norton plays Smoochy the lovable rhino of a children’s television show. Rainbow plots against Smoochy for taking his place on the television show. This is a great movie for anyone who may get annoyed by Barney.
Number 3
Real Genius is a comedy about college students working on a laser for their professor. The movie begins with Mitch Taylor a teenage genius starting in college. Mitch soon meets his roommate Chris Knight played by Val Kilmer. Chris Knight is another genius that will be working on the laser project. Chris introduces Mitch to the fun parts of college life. This is a cute movie that is a lot of fun.

1993, So I Married an Axe Murderer
Many people are familar with the Austin Powers trilogy that Mike Myers played in, but not as many know about So I Married an Axe Murderer. So I Married an Axe Murderer starts with Charlie, Mike Myers, complaining about his many failed relationships. Charlie soon meets the woman he wants to spend his life with, Harriet (Nancy Travis). Before Charlie is ready to become any more involved with this woman he starts suspecting her of murder. After his friend Tony(Anthony LaPaglia), a police officer, tells him there is no way that she is a murderer, Charlie decides to ask Harriet to marry him. During the honeymoon, Charlie starts to suspect that he may have not been wrong. Mike Myers plays many roles in this movie that are very funny. This is a fun movie for everyone.

1993, Robin Hood: Men in Tights
I believe that every comedy movie list should have at least one Mel Brooks movie on it somewhere. Robin Hood: Men in Tights is a wonderful spoof of the original Robin Hood tells. It has a great cast including Cary Elwes and Dave Chappelle. Everyone should see a Mel Brooks movie at some point.
