I bet you remember the first time your parents took you to see a fireworks show or a military parade. They, like their teachers, taught us to respect the country, the flag and the brave men and women fighting to protect freedom. But those days are numbered. The good ole’ U.S. flag, with its signature 50 stars and 13 bars, may very well become obsolete under a North American Union. Or is it just a security and prosperity perimeter?

Hands down, President Bush is the greatest president in the history of the United States. Immediately, critics argue he is the worst. Where is their foresight? The problem remains they have yet to read the history books of tomorrow, which state George W. Bush is the new forefather of this nation’s new american century. Published this summer on facebook.com were my recommendations for Bush to follow through on by the end of the year. Let’s see how he did.

One year ago, not one person, from the media to the White House, could have predicted Stephen Colbert, the former Daily Show correspondant, would become the next generation of mainstream conservative.

“I’m a neo-neoconservative,” Colbert said on his show to William Kristol, a self-proclaimed neoconservative and editor of The Project for the New American Century.
Little did media pundits, political anaylists, social comedians and arm-chair commentators know this humble South Carolina drama student could stand before the president and speak the truth about the liberal media, staying the course and leading from the gut.

Catch the truthiness on Comedy Central, Monday through Thursday at 11:30 p.m. Eastern/10:30 p.m. Central.

Before you vote on Nov. 7 or any election to come, take some advice from George Carlin, one of the few remaining stand-up comedians with a discernable perspective on life, social issues and politics. They always say to respect your elders and listen to his or her wisdom. I cannot stress that enough with Carlin. This track is titled “Dumb Americans.” WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

Up is down. Left is right. And everything in between is blurry. I was never this disappointed with our political system until President Bush signed into law the Military Commission Act of 2006 while Congress keeled over.
