Jim Inhofe: tool of Jesus?

Our state’s richest politician, Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., blesses Washington D.C. and the nation with his colorful rhetoric and an upstanding conservative, Christian philosophy.

As a kid, I wished Inhofe named one of his 20 sons “Jack,” only as a practical joke. But the attacks from the liberal media are ridiculous.

In a front-page article of the Oklahoma Observer, the editor claims Inhofe is “Science’s number one enemy,” and is affiliated with a “religious cult” that is preparing for “the end times.” Editor Frosty Troy claims Inhofe “believes” global warming “is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” “Inhofe, a bitter anti-environmentalist, used his seniority to capture the chairmanship of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, a position he has used to give aid and comfort to some of the nation’s worst polluters,” writes Troy.

Inhofe deals only with facts. Inhofe saw classified documents that detail global warming and how it’s not caused by man. He is not in a religious cult for believing in the end of time. If time started, shouldn’t it eventually stop?

The book of Revelation is an established fact based on testimony from John the apostle. The Earth will end with fire and brimstone and Jesus Christ will descend on horseback to save the Christians and a hand full of Jews. That’s not a myth. That’s a fact. It’s in the Bible, and the Bible is the true Word of God. Look it up. If you don’t believe it, you’re going to hell. Look that up too.

The godless, liberal media is out of control. Thank you, Mr. Inhofe, for letting the liberal elitists know Oklahoma does not tolerate a multi-cultural, multi-religious society. Never mind the part in the constitution about no established religion. In USA Today - an on-again, off-again liberal rag - Inhofe defended the passing of his bill in May making English the national language. Senate liberals “kowtowed to radical leftist groups, such as (La Raza),” Inhofe writes. Lisa Navarrete, vice president of the National Council of La Raza, responded in an article titled, “One language unites us,” writing Inhofe’s bill is “a solution in search of a problem.”

Shame on you, Mrs. Navarette. And shame on La Raza (Spanish for “the race”) claiming they help immigrants with their English and integration into U.S. culture. She thinks citing a report by the Lewis Mumford Center that 92 percent of second-generation Hispanics speak English “well” is going to help her cause. I admit, it can be a problem for hispanics not knowing English when they come to this. But that’s why patriotic blessings from God, such as Inhofe, pass laws to make it harder for them to integrate and learn English. Immigrants can’t know La Raza is kowtowing when they don’t understand the expression.

America is a nation built on expressions: “One nation under God,” “The land of the free and the home of the brave,” “I’m lovin’ it.” Inhofe and I talk to God. In 2002, Inhofe said the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were God’s divine punishment for the U.S. not supporting Israel the way God intended. Inhofe told us he prayed to God, and the believers know about the power of prayer. But liberals don’t know the power of prayer. They like to equate Inhofe’s 9/11 comments to Jerry Falwell’s, who said in 2001 that groups including the pagans, abortionists, feminists, homosexuals and the American Corrupt Liberals Union (ACLU) helped in 9/11.

Clearly they are missing the point. Falwell listens to God. Liberals don’t. I demand we reopen the 9/11 Commission and demand God to the witness stand (under oath to Himself, of course). He will straighten this mess out. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, Inhofe told witnesses for the Abu-Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal that he is “outraged by the outrage.” I am outraged that Inhofe is outraged by the outrage. He should not have to be outraged because others are outraged. That is outrageous. Stop the kowtowing!
God told me, in a prayer, the liberal media hurts Inhofe on the inside - his heart. He’s likely to have heart trouble. You’re killing him! He’s as angry as Jesus flipping the market tables in the temple. You don’t want an enraged Inhofe. I am sick of the liberal media torturing Inhofe’s reputation. Although torture has its benefits. In the Bible, Saul persecuted Christians until his arrest. In jail, the Romans tortured him, which led to his salvation. After getting saved, God caused an earthquake - likely killing a lot of people - that freed Saul. He changed his name to Paul and spent the rest of his life professing the faith. According to the logic of God’s Word, we should strongly consider sending all non-believers to prison and make Christians of them. We are giving them a one-way ticket to heaven. How can that be against God’s will?

Inhofe on hot button issues: “(M)y wife and I have been married 47 years,” Inhofe said on the U.S. Senate floor. “We have 20 kids and grandkids. I’m really proud to say that - in the recorded history of our family - we’ve never had a divorce or any kind of homosexual relationship.”
