‘Kramer’ stirs racial tensions nationwide
The former co-star of Seinfeld went off on a few black people in the audience this past week. Richards made an apology on Late Night with David Letterman to salvage his reputation among the drive-by media. Comedian Sinbad responded on CNN to say he doesn’t accept the apology. The owner of the Laugh Factory, where Richards unleashed his offensive speech, said Richards was scheduled to apologize the next night, but the apology did not come and now he is banned from performing at the Laugh Factory until the African American community approves.
