Designs on Record Jackets

moon river

It was about a month ago that I accidentally fell in love with old record jackets.

On that day, my roommate took me to one of those donations stores for taking a break from all school things. I was looking around at kitchen tools, clothes, furniture, etc., but I was not finding anything interesting until the moment I stopped by the book section.

There were huge piles of old records covered with dust hidden at the end of the hall. I was flipping over those records thinking “Oh, well, is there anybody who has an record player nowadays ?” —then I met this old jazz record (shown on the top of this post).

My heart suddenly started beating up like a drum because it had this jacket that totally matched up my taste of art, pop colors in a big contrast to the background. It was so perfect that it did not matter whether I had an record player.

Anyway, this is how I fell in love with old record jackets. I have found four lovable jackets so far, and will continue searching more in those dusty treasure piles.
