Me and My Site
What is this site about?
This site gives its viewers a glimpse of my family and how we celebrate one another, our relationships and our lives. More importantly, it shows a Southern family enjoying cold 6-point Miller Lite, George Strait and the blessing that is a family who truly enjoys spending time with one another. Although I am creating this site for my family’s viewing pleasure, I hope that all who view it will find an uplifting story of faith, love and traditional values on its electronically generated pages.
Who am I?
The Oklahoman and news-editorial journalism student. I plan to earn a masters degree in technical writing from OSU and find a cushy job where I can write and research from the patio of my lakehouse while my dog lounges nearby. (I’ll let you know how it goes.)
I am from Mustang, Okla. I grew up rodeoing and writing. Add family to that list and you have my passions. I love horses and big, slobbery dogs. I have a chocolate laborador retreiver named Brady and a mare named TJ.
I spend too much time watching comedies and hanging out with my friends. Finally, I am a worrier and waste a lot of time stressing out. Thankfully, I have an amazing family to cheer me toward success and happiness.
