“I’m Just Saying”

What’s going on? I am senior Public Relations student at Oklahoma State. Just to give a brief overview of who I am: I was born in raised in Southeastern Oklahoma by parents who were born and raised in Northern California. This led to a very different upbringing from those around me. If you have ever been to Southeastern Oklahoma and knew that I was raised to be open-minded, then you will know what I am talking about.

I have two brothers, Chris and Justin. My family life was always just us boys and our Mom and Dad. While most kids I grew up with were riding horses and listening to Alan Jackson or some other country singer, I was going to the lake and listening to Led Zepplin and Al Green with my parents. This is where my love and appreciation for true rock music began….

I am a pretty laid back person who loves to be around friends. Since I never had that much of an extended family, my friends are the closest family that I have. I like to play and watch sports, especially basketball and football. One of my favorite things to do is to see rock bands, especially at Cains Ballroom or any other bar. My favorite band is Oklahoma’s own, Kings of Leon, who I will be seeing at Cain’s Ballroom for the third time on September 22. I will be sure to update everyone on how the night went.
