Back On Track?
Jessica Simpson’s summer tryst with singer John Mayer was thought to be just a publicity stunt but recent events have lead people to believe that there is more to this short lived romance than meets the eye. On October 3, gossip Web site TMZ.com reported on October late night rendezvous at the Beverly Hills’ Four Seasons Hotel. Citing “multiple sources,” a site rep stands by the story and a separate source has claimed that they too witnessed Simpson and Mayer entering the hotel elevator together.
However, the stars friends are standing by their story: It’s not true! Mayer’s rep won’t comment on his personal life and Simpson says “she’s keeping her personal life private.” If the pair hopes to avoid the media frenzy that their last sparks ignited, it may be too late.
