Tom Cruise is known world wide for his crazy antics! He was originally Thomas Cruise Mapother IV but later just shortened it to Tom Cruise. He was born on July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York. Tom’s father left the family when he was very young to survive on their own.

He is considered one of the most successful movie stars in Hollywood and his is the only actor to have six consecutive $100 million plus blockbusters on his resume. His breakout role was 1983’s Risky Business. From then on he started in many top films and went on to become an icon.
He was married to Nicole Kidman for 10 years and the adopted 2 children, Connor and Isabella. He later divorced Kidman and In November 2006 married Katie Holmes. In the summer of 2006 they their first child together, Suri Cruise!
