About Me
My name is Lisa. I’m almost 25 years old and still in school, which is utterly depressing. But it’s because I wasted a couple of years of my life in the Army after graduating from a 2-year school. Don’t get me wrong, being in the armed forces is one of the most noble things you can do, but it also puts you in a prime position to be treated like crap by the government. Am I bitter about the time I spent in the Army and how everything ended up? Well, yeah.
I recently got married to a National Guard staff sergeant and have an extremely adorable 8-month-old blue-eyed little boy named William. My major is News-Editorial, and I am technically a senior, but it seems imminent that I will be here another year to take a required course that’s only offered in the fall. So, I am thinking about double majoring in Broadcast and News-Editorial and minoring in English. And hopefully I will be out of here by May 2008.
This Web site is about two of the things I love most in the world: tattoos and music. Music has been an integral part of my life (as well as pretty much everyone else’s, I’m sure) ever since I was a little girl listening to *cringe* MC Hammer, Debbie Boone and Amy Grant. And, I think it’s fan-freaking-tastic that Senate Bill 806 *FINALLY* passed to allow tattooing in Oklahoma, which was the left-behind outcast of the U.S. in regards to tattoo legalization.
