Flash Tattooing
Those wanting a tattoo but who are not sure what they want can look to the Web to explore…there are dozens of sites online dedicated to tattoo designs. Some of these include www.tattoofinder.com, www.tattoodesign.com and www.tattoojohnny.com.
Some of these sites even offer downloadable templates or stencils for tattoos that people can download and print off, either free or for a price.
The downside to looking through examples on these sites is that many of them consist of flash art, which is mass-produced pictures that customers of tattoo shops can sort through and pick from. Or, if the pictures are of custom work that someone else had done, it means just that - someone else already thought of it and had it done. So it may not be a good idea to copy ideas from the Web sites (after all part of the point of getting tattooed is to be original, right?), but it may be a good jumping-off point for people who have no clue what they want and would like to get some ideas.
