Obsess Much?
As yet another adendum to my earlier Coheed post, I am providing a few videos for your viewing pleasure…
“The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut”
With a song that has recently become one of my favorites off the Good Apollo album, Claudio Sanchez makes a video that, while rudimentary, is at least interesting. By the way, if the disclaimer at the beginning of the video does not warn you, it is a bit graphic.
“Welcome Home”
This is certainly one of the more rocking songs in quite some time.
“Blood Red Summer”
It is not one my favorite songs (although far from bad), but it is a very enjoyable video.
“Delirium Trigger”
This video is from the band’s “Live at the Starland Ballroom” DVD. Delirium is easily my favorite Coheed song. I doubt it will translate that well to a first time listener, especially as a live performance. However, give it a few more listens, and it will become goosebump inducing.
These last two are from MTV’s Overdrive (lame). They are a tad overboard on the editing, so that detracts from their meaning just a bit.
“The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut” (acoustic)
I honestly consider this one of the best acoustic adaptations I have ever heard.
Wake Up (acoustic)
Isn’t it sweet when he says “kill anyone for you”?
