Asparagus: Choose bunches with bright green and firm stems.
Beans: The pods of shell beans should be leathery but firm with no yellowing. They should snap when bent, and the beans should be felt easily through the pod.
Corn: Look for tight, bright green husks. Kernels should be shiny, plump, and tightly packed.

Last year for Christmas, my roommate and I made our first turkey. We had not idea what to use as a marinade, so we just threw this together and turned out, it tasted great! All you do is take the eraser, get it wet, and scrub away, and it does what it advertises: erases! Just buy it, ok? You’ll thank me.

Grocery stores now sell potatoes that come pre-wrapped in clingwrap that you can put in the microwave, but they cost more. Since we’re all cheap, I’ll show you how to do it at home with a regular unwrapped potato.

It sounds as simple as it is, but it’s the most amazing compliment to burgers and hot dogs when you cook out. Every time I make this, whether it be with family or friends, it always gets requested again the next time. The only downside is that it takes at least an hour to bake, but it’s so easy to throw together that total kitchen time is only about 15 minutes.
