A Senior Recital with Ryan Lipscomb
Ryan Lipscomb kicked off his senior year with an excellent recital in October. The music education major chose a tough mixture of pieces to perform.
Many people attended, including his family and friends, and all were very impressed with the professional ability and stature shown in the performance. Dr. Missal, the head of OSU Bands agreed that it was an amazing concert from a very talented player. He marveled at how far Ryan had progressed in the four years he had been at OSU.
Lanette was very pleased also, and she had to reassure some underclassmen that they would not have to select music that was as difficult as Ryan’s selections. He really went over and beyond what was expected an education major to do, and he did so very impressively.
Ryan plans on student teaching in the Spring, and he will continue to progress in his playing ability. The OSU French Horn Studio is proud to have a member as impressive as Ryan Lipscomb, and his dedication to the French Horn showed during his final recital.
