Ok, so I definitely over hyped the Minnesota Vikings and I’m going to apologize because as much as I am right, which is a lot, this was a huge mistake.  When the Vikings were 4-2, I thought for sure they would make the playoffs, but after three consecutive loses including two to teams with losing records and two at home, I’m officially calling it a season.  I was a year early in thinking that the Vikings were a playoff contender but I also thought that their QB would act his age, which is close to 40 if not 40, and protect the ball and let the defense win games.  That hasn’t happened and that’s why next year, with a new QB, and still the great defense, they should be ready.  I believe that they can end up with winning record but they can’t compete when they get to the playoffs.
