Welcome, to the first site to give the exclusive stories about the newest addition to Oklahoma State’s Residential Life, The Villages. Information will be posted periodically about the pros and cons of living in the high dollar low rises to the west of the well-known Kerr-Drummond complex.
Few people know about the new housing options for students at Oklahoma State University and many will make decisions not based on facts but based on blind judgment. As one of the initial inhabitants, I feel I need to tell the story of The Villages; the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. All stories that need to be read whether making a housing decision for next semester or want to know more about residential life at Oklahoma State University.
I have lived in various places on campus and visited others. I have heard stories about every other dorm, suite and apartment, and now I feel the Villages need to make their way into Oklahoma State history. They are either here to stay or they’ll fall to the ground after a teaspoon is dropped on the fourth floor. But you won’t know unless you stick around to find out more.
After hearing the stories, you can decide whether what you hear is true or if the new suites are just getting the typical freshman bad reputation.
