NCAA Tourney Second Round: South Region

The second round of the South region didn’t see anything surprising happen to any of the top seeds. No. 1 Ohio St. advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 78-71 win over No. 9 Xavier ; No. 5 Tennessee won in a mild upset over No. 4 Virginia 77-74; No. 3 Texas A&M moved on with a 72-69 victory over No. 6 Louisville and No. 2 Memphis coasted over No. 7 Nevada 78-62.
