The official cause of Anna Nicole Smith’s death is accidental overdose, authorities announced Monday. “We found nothing to indicate foul play,” Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger announced at a press conference this morning. “This case is an accidental overdose with no other criminal elements present and this effectively closes the case on Anna Nicole Smith.”
Meanwhile, Smith’s former partner, Howard K. Stern, and her ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, are battling over custody of her daughter, six-month-old Dannielynn Smith. Both claim to be the father of the child. Birkhead recently took a DNA test in order to prove paternity.
