The city of Atlantis has one of the largest casinos with almost every gambling game Las Vegas offers. It also adds a few of its own games like Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. It has 800 different slot machines ranging from the penny slots to $100 slot machines. There are 78 gaming tables including Black Jack, Craps, and Roulette. Don’t worry if you decide to visit and don’t know the rules of the games because Atlantis gives gaming lessons everyday in the casino at 3 p.m. The vacation also holds gambling tournaments in Black Jack and even the slot machines! You can win anything between $25,000 to $50,000.
For the guys, there’s a Race and Sports Bar at Pegasus where you can wager on all the major sporting events. This sports bar has dozens of big screen TVs that have live simulcasts from the U.S. racetracks.

Gambling can be a bit intimidating, especially in an experienced city like Las Vegas. It’s not easy walking up to a Black Jack or Craps table for the first time, even if you are the Internet Poker Champion of the World and know all the rules. But if you’re anything like me, and never really gambled on your own until your first time you’re of legal age in Vegas, here are a few tricks for the most popular games to take with you on your trip to the city of sin.
BLACK JACK
- First and foremost, unless you consider yourself an extremely lucky person and don’t have much spare cash to gamble with, DON’T waste your money on the penny slots. I’m convinced the computers cheat, plus, even when you do win, you don’t win much.
- If you have a couple hundred dollars to play with, go to the $10 Black Jack tables. You’re betting enough to win big, but not so much to where you lose your plane tickets home in a couple of hands.
- Each time you win a hand, take back half your earnings. Ex: you bet $10, so you win $10. Take back $5, which raises your bet to $15. This trick will have your stack of chips multiplying before your eyes if you’re on a roll!
- DON’T touch the cards. It’s illegal and the dealer will either slap your hand or kick you off their table.
- Lastly, if the dealer’s hot, move tables. Winning comes in streaks, and losing comes in even bigger streaks. Don’t think that your luck will turn around at that table, because the odds are, it won’t.
CRAPS
- Go to the loudest table in the casino! The dice are hot and ready to win you some money.
- Always bet your odds behind the pass line.
- NEVER put money on the “Don’t Pass Bar.” People don’t like the negativity and it makes the roller unconfident.
- If you’re going to put bets on the table, sixes and eights have the best odds of getting rolled.
- Warning! Craps is a fast paced game. It can make you or break you. Don’t be surprised if you win $500 in ten minutes and then lose $1,000 five minutes later.
