The best nightlife in Croatia can be found in the city of Split
. The most popular club there is called Aurora. This is where all the excitement takes place and most your memorable experiences will form. Aurora is located right on the coast and is known for its famous guests. Many well-known DJs are regularly spinning the tracks, and world famous rappers and bands are there to put on a show or just to party themselves. The most common type of music played at Croatian clubs and bars is house and techno. One of the best features about the nightlife in this country is the price of the drinks. Don’t worry about spending all your money on alcohol because if it were any cheaper, it’d be free!
Fun Fact: Croatians are known to be extremely laid back and carefree. If you visit this place and see a celebrity wandering the streets with no paparazzi or fans hounding him or her, it’s because the natives simply don’t care. They consider that celebrity to be like everyone else, just with a different job and income. This is one of the many reasons why many of the celebrities are buying up the Croatian property fast.

The best experience I had in Atlantis was at the Jokers Wild Comedy Club. This is located between the Beach Tower and Coral Tower. My family and I were extremely lucky to go to the comedy club on the night that we did for they had a special guest who did the stand up comedy that night- Ray Romano. I never was a big fan of his show “Everybody Loves Raymond,” but he was absolutely hilarious! If you do decide to go to the Jokers Wild Comedy Club while in Atlantis, I suggest you get close with the concierge and see if there are any famous comedians staying at the hotel. Even if you don’t get as lucky as I did, the opening acts were just as funny and I’m sure you’ll have a great time.
Another option for your nighttime pleasure is to visit the Marine Habitat in the Royal Tower. This is also a wonderful experience. You can visit it during the day, but it is much more breathtaking during the evening. The Marine Habitat is a huge underground aquarium filled with Ancient Atlantis artifacts and has over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. Don’t leave Atlantis without seeing this!

South Africans definitely know how to party. There are many clubs and bars that locals and tourists enjoy going to and are always a fun experience. If it’s summer time (winter time in the U.S.) don’t be surprised if you see hundreds of people out on the beaches late at night having a few drinks while dancing to techno. Clifton beach, one of the most popular daytime beaches, is also the most popular at night. Sometimes the parties get so big that they block off entire streets and just party in the streets. I guess there is no such thing as public intoxication in this country!
Here are some of the most popular nightclubs among the locals:
- OPM- plays hip-hop and techno. It’s a sophisticated, upperclassman club in which you have to be 23 years old to enter.
- HQ
- Tiger- this is a club for the young adults. You only have to be 18 years old to get in.
- Cool Runnings- plays reggae music.
If you’re not a big nightlife person, and there with your special someone, the perfect place for you is Lion’s Head. This is a mountain near the beaches that is shaped like a lion’s head. You can easily climb to the top and watch the sunset and the moonrise. It’s one of the most beautiful sites one will ever see.

Vegas is the mother of all the hottest clubs in America, or possibly even the world. It has the nicest and biggest nightclubs I’ve ever seen and so many to choose from. Plus, every one I went to had at least a thirty-minute wait to get in. Just watch out when you do finally get into the club. Most of the people there are either extremely drunk or prostitutes. Now I know why so many people randomly get married in Vegas.
Here are a few of the hottest nightclubs:
- OPM (Located in Caesars’ Palace)
- Rain Las Vegas (Palms)
- Jet (Mirage)
- Pure (Caesars’ Palace)
Hint
: The drinks at the clubs are extremely over priced. I suggest you gamble before hitting up the clubs because at the tables they serve you free drinks!

There are so many things to do while in Las Vegas. Besides eating, gambling, or sporadically getting married, there’s not much you can do during the day. Vegas is known for its trilling nightlife! I definitely urge everyone to go to at least one of the Vegas shows, whether it’s “Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding,” or “Thunder down Under.” They are not cheap but definitely worth your time and money.
Here is a listing of some of the most popular shows that I had the chance to see or heard most about while in Las Vegas.
-
Mystere
- I have never seen anything so entertaining as this show. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. It was composed of a dream-like story line using comedy, acrobatic talent, magic, and exotic costumes. The audience was constantly entertained, and some viewers were even used in the show themselves, including my dad!
-
Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding
- this was also an extremely fun experience. This time my entire family was a star, not just my father. In this show, the audience plays as guests in a wedding. The actors and actresses walk around and just start talking to you like they know you and are part of your family. It’s a little weird, but amusing at the same time.
-
Danny Gans
- I don’t suggest you go to this show unless you’re over the age of 35. This comedian is extremely talented and can do an impersonation of absolutely anyone, but if you don’t know who he is impersonating, then he’s not that funny. He is the most popular and successful comedian currently in Las Vegas, so if you’re born before ’75, it’s the show to see.
-
Thunder Down Under
- Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to see this amazing show. Thunder Down Under is only shown certain times of the year, so if you’re a female looking for a fun time away from your significant other, make sure you go to Vegas when these boys are in town!
