Wipe out!!!
Longboarding can be dangerous as you can see from this picture. Be assured that a wipe out or two will occur if you skate long enough. A helmet is a good idea if you’re going to be skating around heavy traffic. Always be cautious when skating in parking garages because drivers usually have trouble seeing in a dark garage. I know it’s elementary, but always look both ways before crossing the street. I failed to remember this rule and the result was a collision with a Lincoln Navigator. The picture doesn’t accurately show the pain I was feeling at the time. Hospital bills can get expensive, so always be safe when skating.
