Phil LaMarr
Most people recognize Phil LaMarr from his work done on the series Mad TV. But unknown to many, Phil LaMarr has a very long list of characters he has voiced for movies, animated shows and video games.
One of his most well known voice roles is for Hermes Conrad on the show Futurama. He also provides additional voices for characters on the show such as the Preacher Bot. LaMarr’s voice can be heard on shows such as Samurai Jack, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, King of the Hill, Family Guy, TMNT, Drawn Together, Justice League and Ozzy and Drix along with many other programs and games.
LaMarr started off working in improv comedy clubs. He later got offered jobs to be in movies by his friends from the improv troupes. His first role was in the movie It’s Pat but his first major role was in the movie Pulp Fiction as the character Marvin.
