I’m not sure what kind of decorations we should use in the chapel. Tosha, on the other hand, has tons of ideas. We plan to go sometime this week to measure the distance between the pews and find out how much tulle we’ll need. She also has some ideas with balloons. I wasn’t sure about them to begin with, but I think it could be a good effect.
A friend of a friend also got married in this chapel, so she’s supposed to be sending me pictures of what they did for that. I’m hoping I’ll have a better idea of what it needs in order to look good. I don’t think it will take much because of how cute the chapel is to begin with. I’ll try to take more pictures when we go in and measure everything.

We went to Kremlin this morning so Brad could play academic bowl and planned to stop in Enid to drop off the bridemaid dresses. Of course, we forgot them (and didn’t realize until we were 15 minutes out of town and it was too late to turn back and make it to Kremlin on time), so we will have to go back Monday.
Otherwise, we got a lot of wedding planning in. Brad asked Ben’s dad, Kevin Baird, to officiate for us and he said yes, with a condition - if Tosha goes into labor, we wrap it up quickly so he can go to the hospital while his grandson is born. I suggested we bring the entire ceremony there, hah.
We also picked out wooden flowers for boutineers, corsages and bouquets. I’ll post pictures of them later on. Tosha had great ideas for centerpieces and chapel decorations, and it feels as if the decoration stage is going a lot smoother than I expected it to. I’ll write about that soon!

Bennett Memorial Chapel is a small building on OSU’s campus, right beside the journalism building and student union. I had not noticed it before someone suggested it as a good place to hold a small wedding.
Brad is excited about the idea of an OSU wedding. I think Bennett Memorial Chapel is awesome, and the Union will make a great reception site. I drew the line at orange & black for wedding colors, though.
